California's fresh grape industry is made up of approximately 550 farmers.
California produces 98% of the fresh grapes grown in the United States.
Per capita consumption of fresh grapes in the U.S. is 8.4 pounds per person and about a third of the crop is exported to more than 50 countries worldwide.
